Living Lab 2 launched the Delphi survey on Qualtrics. The survey focused on the identification of stakeholder's expectations in term of holistic risk assessment dimensions, preferential methods of risk aggregation, and formats of holistic assessment outputs. Data analysis was completed by September-October 2023.
HOLiFOOD organised two Living Lab workshops during the Synergy Days, an agrifood tech event where stakeholders gather to shape key project outcomes. Moreover, HOLiFOOD hosted, in collaboration with STELAR, a workshop titled “Novel Digital Infrastructure for Food Safety: Solutions for a Rapidly Changing World.”
The first cross-fertilization workshop was joined by the HOLiFOOD LL team and external experts. Its objective was to discuss results from the exploration phase of Living Labs and share experiences and best practices to plan future work.
Living Lab 2 conducted the second phase of the Delphi survey, focusing on refining risk metrics and indicators for legume, maize, and poultry supply chains. Experts were engaged to address interrelationships between risk drivers, impacts, and supply chain-specific factors.
Living Lab 1 presented and tested AI-based models for emerging risk identification, focusing on prediction models and text mining models (specifically raw signal miner and topic modelling). Interactive sessions included breakout rooms for stakeholder feedback on prototypes’ performance and usability.
Living Lab 3 explored AI applications in poultry production and mycotoxin control in animal feed. Participants provided feedback on AI functionalities, model accuracy, and integration within existing food safety infrastructures. In the co-creation sessions, experts participated in discussions centered around specific questions, with the aim of gathering feedback on current modeling approaches and improving future AI-driven models.
