On June 24, 2024, EFSA in Parma hosted a seminar on risk communication led by Ludger Benighaus from Dialogik.
The seminar started with a warm-up session to introduce participants to the day’s activities. The first session focused on the transition from risk communication to risk participation, discussing its basics and formats. Participants then broke into groups to plan an event related to risk communication, fostering collaborative learning and creativity. After a coffee break, two dialogue training sessions were held, where attendees practiced effective communication techniques.
The seminar included a HOLiFOOD case study from Germany, highlighting explorative interviews on the risks associated with food and nutrition.
The event concluded with a wrap-up session summarizing the key insights and discussions from the day.
