Both the on‑chip qPCR system and the corresponding reader have been developed and fully tested. The prototype consists of a microfluidic silicon–glass chip with an integrated reaction chamber and inlet system, together with a compact instrument equipped with heating and optical modules for temperature cycling and fluorescence detection. The system has been validated through successful on‑chip qPCR runs, and full validation of the on‑chip qPCR technology is now close to completion.
