The University of Veterinary Medicine Budapest (UVMB) is the only veterinary university in Hungary. Etablished in 1787, the University plays a leading and pivotal role in the education and research connected to animal health and veterinary public health. With a total of 1,000 students in the Hungarian, German and English programs, UVMB has a wide network of stakeholders acting as both a consultation and dissemination forum.
